Terms of firing service 📃

Welcome to Roopam, owned and operated by Karmam Martech (OPC) Private Limited, a company registered in Thekkumbagom PO, Thodupuzha, Idukki, Kerala, India. These Terms of Service outline the rules and regulations for the firing partners.
A. Damage to Kiln Shelves
In the event that a customer's ceramic pieces cause damage to kiln shelves, Roopam reserves the right to impose a penalty on the customer. The Firing Partner will be reimbursed for the cost of repairing or replacing the damaged shelf, or Roopam may provide a replacement shelf at its discretion after a thorough review with the Firing Partner.
B. Kiln Maintenance
Firing Partners are obligated to take all necessary precautions to minimize kiln damage. This includes the use of kiln cookies to protect shelves, application of kiln wash, periodic maintenance, and timely replacement of kiln elements.
C. Handling of Customer Pieces
Firing Partners must load and unload customer pieces with the utmost care. Any negligence in this regard may result in immediate suspension or termination from Roopam's platform.
D. Non-Solicitation
Firing Partners are prohibited from soliciting or convincing Roopam customers to utilize kiln services outside of the Roopam platform for a reduced price or other benefits. Any such activities will result in immediate suspension or termination from all current and future Roopam services.
E. Service Fee and Pricing
Roopam currently charges a 15% service fee, which is subject to change at Roopam's sole discretion. Firing Partners are free to terminate their partnership at any time, provided there are no pending customer pieces that require firing.
F. Payment Terms
Firing Partners will receive their payments within 7-10 days following the completion of the firing process.
G. Packaging Material
Firing Partners are required to return all packaging material provided by the customer. Additional packaging material may be added if deemed necessary for safer transit.
H. Customer Visits
Customers may visit the Firing Partner's premises to drop off their ceramic pieces.
I. Liability for Damages
Damages to ceramic pieces during firing or transit due to uncontrollable causes are the sole responsibility of the customer. However, Firing Partners are expected to take reasonable measures to minimize such damages.
J. Firing Frequency
Firing Partners are required to provide an accurate approximation of the average frequency of firings at their kilns. This information must be updated on Roopam's platform and should be adhered to as closely as possible.
K. Invoicing and Legal Compliance
If the Firing Partner is registered under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India, they are obligated to issue GST invoices to the customer for the services rendered. Regardless of GST registration, it is the Firing Partner's responsibility to remain legally compliant with all applicable laws and regulations concerning invoicing, taxation and local building permits and other required licenses to conduct firing services.
L. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to trademarks, service marks, and copyrights related to Roopam are owned by Karmam Martech (OPC) Private Limited. Firing Partners are not permitted to use any of Roopam's intellectual property without prior written consent.
M. Confidentiality
Firing Partners must maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information they may gain access to through their partnership with Roopam. This includes, but is not limited to, customer data, business strategies, and pricing information.
N. Termination
Roopam reserves the right to terminate the partnership with the Firing Partner for any reason, including but not limited to, breach of these terms, failure to maintain quality standards, or any action that brings disrepute to Roopam.
O. Amendments
Roopam reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Firing Partners will be notified of any changes, and continued partnership post-notification will constitute acceptance of the new terms.
