Make Coil Vase

An intermediate level handbuilding activity where participants learn the coiling technique to create a beautiful vase. Using just their hands and basic tools, participants will learn to roll coils and stack them to build up the walls of their vase. This is a slightly more advanced activity that allows for creative expression.
during the event
Participants learn to make and stack clay coils to build their vase walls, with guidance on shaping and finishing techniques. At the end, they select their preferred glaze color.
after the event
We collect the pieces, bisque fire them, apply the chosen glaze, glaze fire, and ship the finished vases to participants.
